He has been associated with Films from as far as he could remember: first a Script Writer, then a Film Critic, and then expanding himself into film Direction. Following completion of his Feature-Film Screenplay Writing course from Michigan State University, he plans to pitch his German story, "The Everlasting Jew", a film about Cinema during the Nazi era while documenting a fictional tale on how the most notorious film "The Eternal Jew" was made. Vivek will simultaneously be applying at AFI - conservatory programme.rnrn

“Try to be as close to the reality as it is and create magic.”

I usually begin shaping my story using a pen and paper. I don't use any sort of screen, and all gadgets are out of the room once I sit down with my writing Pad. My style is to write a core subject that my story deals with, and not to type it into a final draft until it is ready to be typed. There's no generalized message that is conveyed through my works, except to be original.

 Some of his works include:
  • Jab Khuli Kitaab (releasing soon on Zee5)
  • Samosa & Sons (released on Jio Cinema)
  • Bahadur: The Brave (Kuxtabank Award winner at San Sebastián International Film Festival, and many more Film Festivals around the world)
  • Metro... In Dino (awaiting release)
  • Bhediya Dhasaan (currently in Post Production)
