I take the festive seasons very seriously because it's time for touring and business. I make sure I have new projects out that will give me ideas for merchandise production. I incorporate some elements related to Christmas during this season like the seasonal sounds and melodies that have been here all the time and then add my creativity to it. We also plan a couple of shows during this season.
In my process, I like to write down my lyrics and go through them after and then see if the message is right and how I want it to be portrayed. Every song is unique and has its own message.
Most of the time, the lyrics come from somewhere or something that I've experienced just like my song, "Wana C Wana", which has a story in it. I have high expectations because I am learning a lot from researching and trying new ideas and styles that have helped in my progress as an artist. Even working with different creatives has helped me learn something from them. I'd like to explore Reggae music because I am a fan of Bob Marley, I'd like to explore house music, and K-pop as well. I love them. For collaborations, we have to connect in something. Either you're my friend, I love your art, or I'm paid. We will work.
